Overview

The Procurement Supervisor will implement strategic procurement including sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation, quality management, customer relationship management, and performance measurement.Ensure timely preparation of procurement plans for projects and monitor their implementation by controlling processes including receipt of requisitions, evaluation, and negotiation of certain conditions of contracts in full compliance with Procurement standards.


What You Will Do

  1. Implement strategic procurement including sourcing strategy, supplier selection and evaluation, quality management, customer relationship management, and performance measurement
  2. Ensure timely preparation of procurement plans for projects and monitor their implementation by controlling processes including receipt of requisitions, evaluation, and negotiation of certain conditions of contracts in full compliance with Procurement standards.
  3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual procurement plans and progress reports as required.
  4. Responsible for the performance reviews of the vendors.
  5. Liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve supplier payment issues.
  6. To ensure payment terms are managed and optimized in favor of the Company.
  7. Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnership
  8. Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services.
  9. Responsible to supervise and coordinate all Hotel bookings and other interim accommodation plans provided for all personnel and guests are seamless.
  10. Ensure smooth mobilization and demobilization process for all field workers.
  11. Supervise the Logistics Officer in the Divisional HQ and Head Office on his/her daily activities to ensure the company’s cars and other facilities (accommodation and other properties) are constantly in a good position to provide the necessary support to all staff.
  12. Promote a zero-tolerance for violations of procurement policies and procedures.
  13. Reports to the GM on a weekly basis on purchases made within the week.
  14. Any other duties as assigned by Management.
  15. To comply with all established Organizational QHSE related policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
  16. Establish and implement QHSE related Objectives that meet the SMART criteria.
  17. Ensure that Hazards/Environmental Aspect Impacts related to the Supply Chain department are identified and communicated to the HSE department.
  18. Participation in risk assessment and establishment of process plans.
  19. Implementation of risk-based thinking

What we Require.

  1. 5 years of work experience with a good knowledge of the SCM process
  2. A good university degree in related areas such as business, economics, logistics, and supply chain management.
  3.  strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  4. Good communication skills.
  5. Good cost management and financial acumen skills.
